Meet our staff!
behind the scenes
We are incredibly grateful to our directors, whose dedication and hard work make CASC Lessons possible. They manage all the behind the scenes operations, from reserving the pool and coordinating with the school district and swim club, to hiring and training instructors. They build and run registration, handle communications with families, and oversee every aspect of the program. Their tireless efforts, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence keep our lessons organized, safe, and effective, and we couldn't do it without them.

Co-Director: Ruth Bell
Ruth's passion for swimming developed shortly after her family relocated to Casper. At the age of 10, she began taking swimming lessons through the SwimAmerica program (now CASC-Lessons). She progressed through the ranks, joining the Swim Club and later competing at the high school level for a short period of time. Ruth transitioned into coaching for SwimAmerica in 2007, where she discovered her passion for teaching.
When she’s not on the deck, you’ll find her sharing her love of music as a dedicated member of the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra and spending time with her family.

Co-Director: Tracey Kegler
Tracey serves as Co-Director of CASC Lessons, working alongside Ruth to support the program's operations, coordination, and continued development behind the scenes. She also serves as President of Casper Swim Club, bringing additional leadership and organizational experience to the program. Tracey is a 3rd grade teacher at Southridge Elementary School, and her introduction to the swimming community began in 2022 when her daughter started lessons at the Rec Center in Casper and was encouraged to join Casper Swim Club.
In her free time she values teaching, camping, and spending time with her family.
